Restaurants

Some of our Favorites

Welcome to the Berkshire Mountains, where fresh mountain air meets farm-to-table delights. If you're seeking a serene getaway, packed with outdoor adventures and mouthwatering dining experiences, you've come to the right place. Families, food enthusiasts, and nature lovers, this one's for you!

Cafe Adam

A Culinary gem

Consistently the one of best restaurants in Great Barrington; Our go-to for either a date night or a nice solo dinner at their bar.  Be sure to make a reservation as it has gotten quite popular.

Berkshire Mountain Bakery

Bakers delight

One of the best bakeries in town.  Stop by the location in Housatonic and sample their array of breads (my favorite is the sesame!), homemade pizzas, pot pie and other yummy delights.  You’ll find a few locations around town and see them at farmers markets - always worth a stop!

Bistro Box

Burger Heaven

No 6 Coffee Depot

Coffee lovers unite

A West Stockbridge coffee shop that will make you feel like you just walked into Brooklyn.  Get a latte and a pastry and sit in their sun filled cafe as a midday break.  On your way out, grab a bag of coffee beans, roasted on site, our house favorite is the Notes From the Underground!

Fun, casual, walk-up burger window led by graduates from the Culinary Institute of America that serves amazing fresh food!  Whatever you order, be sure to try one of their varieties of french fries with one of their homemade dipping sauces - yummm.

Xicohtencatl Restaurant

A taste of mexico

Colorful Mexican restaurant that has been in Great Barrington for 20 years with great food, drinks and a large outdoor area that is great for large groups! Great for vegetarians!

Where Pizza Meets Paradise

Since taking over the old John Andrew’s space Rafi Bildner and his team have been turning out just about the best pizza and vibes you can find! Check out their website before you go, as they’re currently operating as a pop-up while they build out their permanent place.  A lot of their produce is grown on property, and all of it is local; try whatever the special is that day - it’s sure to have been plucked off a vine that day!

Brava

Tapas and wine galore

You’ll find locals and visitors packed into this lively tapas bar in downtown Lenox.  It can get crowded, so plan on dropping your name at the host stand and enjoying a glass of wine on their lovely patio while you wait.  Don’t forget about their extensive wine list!

Get “The Works,” and enjoy a Nova bagel with all of the fixings or bite into any of their deli sandwiches while grabbing a copy of the Berkshire Eagle.  Tell Bob that you heard about them from Birch Tree

Baba Louie's

A night out

Tucked in the corner of Railroad Street this Lounge boasts a strong creative cocktail menu and a large offering of charcuteries, cheeses , tinned fish, and many other delicious iterations of elevated bar snacks.

Pizzas every-which way

Great pizza in Great Barrington using a delicious sourdough crust, serving all the classic and some with creative toppings - try the Isabella Pizzarella with sweet potato!   The whole family will love it!
